Más de 45 años de experiencia académica y clínica en endodoncia y traumatología dental. Reconocido internacionalmente como una de las autoridades líderes mundiales en manejo de trauma dental, reabsorción dental y resultados de tratamiento endodóntico. Extensas responsabilidades docentes incluyendo programa de entrada graduada Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) y programas de posgrado Doctor of Clinical Dentistry (DClinDent) en Endodoncia y Traumatología Dental en UWA. Temas de enseñanza incluyen endodoncia, traumatología dental, reabsorción dental, control de dolor, manejo de emergencia de problemas orales y dentales, prescripción de antibióticos, uso de analgésicos y AINEs, diagnóstico, pruebas pulpares y planificación de tratamiento.
Conferenciante internacional habiendo presentado más de 800 conferencias y cursos en 43 países sobre tratamiento endodóntico, manejo de trauma dental, diagnóstico y tratamiento de reabsorción dental, terapia pulpar vital, endodoncia regenerativa y protocolos endodónticos basados en evidencia. Publicó más de 195 artículos en revistas internacionales revisadas por pares incluyendo Journal of Endodontics, International Endodontic Journal, Australian Dental Journal, y Dental Traumatology. Autor de 23 capítulos de libros de texto sobre endodoncia y trauma dental para libros de texto internacionales importantes.
