The role of the retreatment in the last years he is surely widened thanks to the techniques and new types of equipment that allow us to brightly resolve complex clinical cases with multiple pathologies.Teeth with iatrogenic problems like perforations, large foramens, resorptions, internal and external transportations, posts, broken instruments, etc. are treated with success and the role of the new types of cement has been fundamental for their resolution in the NSCRT
Not many years ago but also today compromised teeth were or are too often extracted for making a place to the implants but now the problem is completely different thanks to the incredible outcome of endo treatment and in particular to the root perforations. Implants are a wonderful solution when we have to treat hopeless teeth but the decision making is the most important step of our treatment and today we can treat perforation in a predictable way
Learning Objectives:
1) Decision-making process between retreatment and tooth extraction
2) Root perforations: selection and indications of treatment
3) Root perforation: technique and materials
