Full Professor de Endodontología en University of Amsterdam (UvA) y Academic Centre for Dentistry Amsterdam (ACTA), designado febrero 2026. Chair de Department of Endodontology en ACTA, donde integra atención al paciente, enseñanza de pregrado y posgrado, e investigación científica.
Más de 20 años de práctica clínica especializada limitada a endodoncia en Ámsterdam. Investigación enfocada en resultados de tratamiento de terapia de conducto radicular, técnicas diagnósticas innovadoras y toma de decisiones clínicas basadas en evidencia con énfasis en indicaciones de tratamiento apropiadas y evitando sobretratamiento.
Extensa colaboración internacional con investigadores en Europa y más allá, resultando en numerosas publicaciones en revistas científicas revisadas por pares. Autor y editor de múltiples libros de texto sobre endodoncia. Activo como conferenciante internacional y supervisor de múltiples proyectos de investigación PhD.
