Pionero en desarrollar protocolos para cierre de espacio estético y funcionalmente justificado en casos de agenesia. Ganador del Dewel Memorial Award 2016 de American Association of Orthodontists.
Conferenciante internacional enseñando extensamente sobre tratamiento ortodóncico temprano, biomecánica y planificación de tratamiento interdisciplinario. Profesor Visitante en Insubria University, Italia. Certificado por European Board of Orthodontics e Italian Board of Orthodontics, nivel más alto de diplomas. Miembro Honorario de Italian Academy of Orthodontists. Ex Presidente de Association of Italian Specialists in Orthodontics (ASSO, 1998-2001).

Intereses de investigación primarios incluyen tratamiento temprano mínimamente invasivo sin extracción de dientes permanentes, soluciones biomecánicas para casos desafiantes y estabilidad a largo plazo de intervenciones tempranas.
