Today, more and more children under the age of 3 years have caries. In the work of a pediatric dentist we can say that these are the most “difficult” patients. And there are a number of reasons for this:

- Carious is very extensive and the restoration of such defects requires a high level of manual skills from the doctor
- Aggressive tooth decay with caries does not leave time for long thoughts - while parents go through the stage of reflection, very often we lose our teeth
- A child under 3 years of age can rarely realize the need for intervention in their teeth and agree with such patients without the help of an anesthesiologist in most cases is impossible
- Parents give us a whole kaleidoscope of reactions when consulting and treating such patients, and in some situations their position plays a dominant role in the pathogenesis of caries
