Existe una relación directa entre los puntos de contacto, lineas de oclusión excéntricas y la articulación temporo mandibular; para que nuestros pacientes posean una ATM sana estas líneas guías y puntos de contactos tienen que observarse en ellos, si estas no se encuentran entonces debemos buscar reproducirlas con nuestro tratamiento de ortodoncia.
