Enfoque principal de investigación en la irrigación del conducto radicular — abarcando eficacia de irrigantes, protocolos de irrigación activada, análisis microbiológico y análisis histo-morfológico complejo de sistemas de conductos radiculares mediante microscopía avanzada. Autor de más de 30 publicaciones revisadas por pares y ocho capítulos de libros (incluyendo uno en español y uno en portugués). Ha impartido más de 120 conferencias en todo el mundo.
