Programa de investigación en la intersección de periodoncia, medicina del sueño y dolor orofacial — abarcando el bruxismo del sueño, la apnea obstructiva del sueño, la enfermedad periodontal como factor de riesgo sistémico y las relaciones bidireccionales entre los trastornos respiratorios del sueño y las condiciones orales. Investigación doctoral en la Université de Montréal (bajo la dirección del Prof. Gilles Lavigne) sobre el papel del sueño REM en la génesis del bruxismo del sueño y la interacción entre cefaleas y bruxismo en adolescentes. Autora de múltiples publicaciones científicas indexadas en Sleep, Sleep Medicine, Journal of Dental Research y otras revistas internacionales.
