Recibió el premio «Dentista del año» de la Academia Internacional de Odontología. Es el mayor premio otorgado por la Academia, que se le ha entregado en reconocimiento de sus esfuerzos a nivel mundial por proporcionar la educación en los temas de las enfermedades del TMJ y el dolor orofacial.
