Técnico Dental Maestro Certificado (MDT) especializándose en ciencia del color dental, igualación de tonos y cerámicas estéticas. Investigador independiente y consultor en ciencia computacional del color para aplicaciones dentales. Inventor de sistema de igualación de tonos eLAB, primer software en odontología en entregar recetas de mezcla específicas del paciente para materiales cerámicos.

Más de 25 años de experiencia como técnico dental entrenado en Alemania trabajando en Europa, Emiratos Árabes Unidos y Australia. Experto en todos aspectos de apariencia de color dental desde perspectivas prácticas y científicas. Conocido por tender puente entre ciencia avanzada del color con aplicaciones prácticas de laboratorio dental para mejorar predictibilidad en restauraciones estéticas.

Miembro de Oral Design Group (inducido 2007 por fundador Willi Geller) y Bio-Emulation group (inducido 2012). Miembro Editorial Board de German Quintessence of Dental Technology (desde 2011). Conferenciante internacional desde 2009, habiendo entregado cientos de cursos y conferencias globalmente sobre estética dental, ciencia del color y materiales cerámicos. Desarrollador de sistema visual_eyes liquid y fluor_eyes flash para fotografía dental fluorescente. Autor de numerosas publicaciones incluyendo contribuciones a QDT Yearbook (2009, 2011) y artículos revisados por pares en revistas de tecnología dental.

Formado como Técnico Dental en Alemania (graduado 1997). Master School en Freiburg, Alemania, graduándose primero de clase y ganando plata en anual Kanter Award Competition (2004/05), que reconoce tres mejores estudiantes Master School de Alemania. Formación avanzada en cerámicas dentales con Masahiro Kuwata en Tokio, Japón (2001). PhD en Ciencia del Color de University of Leeds, School of Design, bajo Professor Stephen Westland, enfocándose en aplicaciones de ciencia computacional del color en odontología. Publicaciones recientes incluyen trabajo sobre tender puente entre percepción instrumental y visual en igualación de tonos dentales publicado en revistas revisadas por pares (2024).

Autor del libro «Mechanical Behavior of Composite Laminated Ceramic Beams». Autor de capítulos de libros "Carga inmediata: Una nueva era en implantología oral", "El arte de detallar. La filosofía de la excelencia". Miembro fundador de la Sociedad Italiana de Prostodoncia y Rehabilitación Oral (SIPRO). Miembro de la Academia Italiana de Odontología Restauradora (AIOP), Academia Americana de Prostodoncia Fija (AAFP), Asociación Europea de Prostodoncia (EPA).

Member of the Italian Academy of Esthetic Dentistry and one of the Founding members of Fradeani Education.

A member of the Nobel Biocare Mentor Project.

Lectures nationally and internationally on prosthodontics and implants.

Member of the Italian Society of Prosthetic Dentistry.

Professor and Chairman of the Department of Prosthodontics, Propaedeutics and Dental Materials, Christian-Albrechts University at Kiel, Germany.

In 2011 received the Schweitzer Research Award of the Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontics (GNYAP).

Served as President of the German Society for Prosthetic Dentistry and Biomaterials (DGPro).

In 2020 received the IADR Distinguished Scientist Award for Research in Prosthodontics and Implants.
