Ortodoncista y director de Kooalldam Dental Hospital en Incheon, Corea del Sur, desde 2002, una de las instituciones dentales multidisciplinarias más conocidas de Corea, con departamentos que cubren todas las principales disciplinas clínicas. Es reconocido internacionalmente por su experiencia en la técnica MEAW, Multi-loop Edgewise Archwire, el diagnóstico ortodóncico orientado a la articulación temporomandibular y el manejo funcional de casos de mordida abierta y discrepancia esquelética.
Estuvo entre los primeros ortodoncistas de Corea en completar formación formal en MEAW con el Dr. Young Hee Kim, vinculado directamente al linaje de la técnica, al asistir al curso inaugural de MEAW en Seúl en 1993 a 1994. Completó formación avanzada en ATM y oclusión con destacados clínicos en Austria, Japón y Estados Unidos en 2000 a 2001. Obtuvo su PhD en ortodoncia en Kanagawa Dental University, Japón, en 2006, dentro del linaje académico del profesor Sadao Sato.
