Holds a PhD in Oral Medicine from Lancaster University, with research focused on vibrational spectroscopy and saliva-based diagnostics for diabetes and oral cancer, alongside postgraduate qualifications in Medical Education, Aesthetic Medicine, Experimental Oral Pathology, and Oral Surgery. Extensive expertise in oral pathology, oral medicine, oral surgery, dental implantology, non-surgical facial aesthetics, research methodology, medical statistics, spectroscopy, molecular biology, and AI-driven diagnostic technologies. Highly experienced educator and academic leader, with expertise in curriculum development, postgraduate programme management, staff development, assessment and accreditation. Regularly teaches and supervises postgraduate dental students and organizes advanced clinical training, including cadaver-based skills workshops.
