It will be a one-of-a-kind chance to closely interact with Dr. David Sanz daily practice and his pursuit of excellence in Orthognathic Surgery and treatment protocols.
What to expect on Dr. David Sanz office course:
– performing orthognathic surgeries
– performing TMJ surgeries
– monitoring of functional rehabilitation of orthognathic surgery therapy
– analysis of clinical cases.
Practice will take place in Instituto Português da Face, Lisbon, Portugal.

Cirujano oral y maxilofacial especializado en cirugía ortognática, cirugía de la articulación temporomandibular y apnea obstructiva del sueño. Cofundador y Cirujano de Plantilla en Instituto Português da Face (IPFace), Lisboa — el principal centro de referencia de Portugal para cirugía de la ATM y facial (cofundado con el Dr. David Angelo). Profesor Asistente Invitado, Facultad de Odontología, Universidad de Coimbra.
Más de 16 años de especialización clínica progresiva en cirugía ortognática, disfunción de la ATM y cirugía de apnea del sueño. Realiza el alcance completo de procedimientos ortognáticos bimaxilares, osteotomías segmentarias, genioplastia y cirugía abierta de la ATM, con un fuerte énfasis en la planificación quirúrgica virtual 3D y la rehabilitación funcional multidisciplinaria. Instructor habitual en programas de formación en cirugía ortognática en vivo en IPFace — proporcionando a los cirujanos visitantes experiencia práctica con sus protocolos clínicos y técnica operatoria.
Autor y coautor de artículos en revistas nacionales e internacionales y presentaciones en congresos científicos. Conferenciante internacional sobre cirugía ortognática, cirugía de la ATM y apnea del sueño.
MD (Estomatología/Cirugía Oral y Maxilofacial). Especialista en Cirugía Maxilofacial. Fundador y Ex Presidente (hasta marzo de 2018), Sociedad Portuguesa de Trastornos Temporomandibulares y Dolor Orofacial (SPDOF); actual Vicepresidente. Miembro, Asociación Europea de Cirugía Craneomaxilofacial (EACMFS).
