During the master class, you will learn the most relevant topics in the ImplantePerio concept, which has been popular in South America for 20 years.
The training is created to help the practitioner in treatment planning in the most optimal way – through logical decision-making algorithms. You will also see presentations of clinical cases with records of real operations, with which the professor will clearly illustrate the author's evidence-based clinical recommendations. Hands-on sessions will help to develop manual skills of working with biomaterials.
Program:
Day 1
– Single and multiple recessions – what to do? Exposed root closure, procedures for absolute tissue tightness.
– Soft tissue augmentation and restoration technique
– Gingival smile correction methods
– Hands-on. Decision-making algorithm and connective tissue harvesting
– Discussion with course participants – case studies.
Day 2
– Working with a socket after tooth extraction in an aesthetic area: one-stage implant placement or socket preservation?
– Corticotomy - the right solution for the preparatory stage of orthodontic treatment
– Hands-on. 3D-alveolar ridge augmentation: limits and predictability of methods. Closing recessions at full surgical protocol
– Discussion of the material and photo session with the professor.

Periodoncista e implantólogo en práctica privada en Brasília y São Paulo, Brasil, con enfoque clínico exclusivo en cirugía plástica y reconstructiva periodontal, manejo de tejidos blandos alrededor de dientes e implantes y aumento óseo alveolar para el desarrollo estético y funcional del sitio implantario.
Fue el primer receptor del premio inaugural Bud Tarson Award otorgado por la American Academy of Periodontology, AAP, en 2005, uno de los principales reconocimientos de la AAP a la investigación clínica sobresaliente en periodoncia. También fue co-ganador de la Growth Against Recession Aesthetic Case Competition en 2011. Autor y coautor de múltiples artículos revisados por pares y capítulos de libros con énfasis en manejo tisular periodontal alrededor de dientes e implantes. Coautor de los libros Reconstrução Tecidual Estética, 2009, publicado en portugués, español e italiano, y PerioImplantodontia Estética, 2016, publicado en portugués, inglés y español, ambos reconocidos como referencias clave en cirugía perioplástica estética en el mundo lusófono.
