Past President of the Italian Endodontic Society S.I.E. Past President of the International Federation of Endodontic Associations I.F.E.A. Active Member of the European Society of Endodontology E.S.E. Active Member of the American Association of Endodontists A.A.E. Assistant Professor of Endodontics at the University of Cagliari Dental School and Professor of Micro-Surgical Endodontics at the Specialty of Oral Surgery of the University Federico II of Naples. Very well known international lecturer, gave lectures all around the world and published articles on Endodontics in the most prestigious Endodontic Journals. The author of the textbook “EndodonticS” and of “Micro-Surgical Endodontics” edited by EDRA Publisher.
 
Gianluca Plotino was born in 1978 in Rome, Italy. He graduated in dentistry from the Catholic University of Rome in 2002. Dr. Plotino obtained his PhD in 2009. In 2017, he received certification as a Professor of II level, and in 2018 as a Professor of I level in Italy. Gianluca Plotino is a Specialist Member of the European Society of Endodontology (ESE), an International Specialist Member of the American Association of Endodontists (AAE), an active member and President of the Italian Academy of Endodontics (AIE), and an active member of several other professional societies. He received the Hans Genet Award from the European Society of Endodontology in 2013, along with several other research prizes and awards. Dr. Plotino has published more than 150 articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals, achieving an h-index of 48. He is the author of three endodontic textbooks and has contributed numerous chapters to other textbooks. He is an Associate Editor of the European Endodontic Journal and a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Endodontics, as well as several other international journals. Dr. Plotino holds four patents and is the founder of a start-up. He currently works in his private practice in Rome, Italy, with a focus on endodontics and restorative, esthetic, and interdisciplinary dentistry.
 

Chaniotis Antonis is a graduate of the University of Athens Dental School, Greece (1998). In 2003 he completed the three-year postgraduate program in Endodontics at the University of Athens Dental School.

Since 2003, he owns a limited to microscopic Endodontics private practice in Athens, Greece.

For 10 years, he served as a clinical instructor affiliated with the undergraduate and postgraduate programs at the University of Athens, Athens Dental School, Endodontic department, Greece.

In 2012 he was awarded the title of Clinical fellow teacher at the University of Warwick, Warwick dentistry UK.

He lectures extensively nationally and internationally and he has published articles in local and international Journals.

He currently serves as an active member of the Hellenic Society of Endodontology ( ESE full member society), a certified member of the European Society of Endodontology (ESE) and an international member of the American Association of Endodontists (AAE).

 

Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics
Director of the American Association of Endodontists and the San Francisco Dental Society, and as a fellow of both the American College of Dentists and the International College of Dentists.
Has authored and co-authored numerous papers for the most significant journals, was Co-editor and contributing author of A Clinical Guide to Dental Traumatology.
Leading legal expert witness on issues involving departures by dentists from the Standard of Endodontic Care, and has participated in over 400 cases in the United States and Canada.
