Participants will gain comprehensive knowledge of evidence-based conventional immediate implant treatments, essential soft tissue surgical skills, and partial extraction therapy protocols. Prior completion of the Academy’s Basic Implantology Course and Smile Design Course is recommended to establish a solid foundation for this advanced training.

Autoridad mundial en Partial Extraction Therapy (PET), un conjunto de técnicas que cambia el paradigma y preserva el hueso alveolar y el contorno de los tejidos blandos reteniendo un fragmento de la raíz natural en su alvéolo en el momento de la colocación del implante, en lugar de extraer completamente la raíz. Pionero y codesarrollador de la técnica Socket Shield y único desarrollador del procedimiento Pontic Shield (publicado en 2016), una extensión de PET para sitios de pónticos en puentes implantosoportados. Autor de publicaciones revisadas por pares en las principales revistas de implantología y periodoncia sobre PET, resultados de socket shield, colocación inmediata de implantes y manejo de tejidos blandos. Experto en injertos óseos autógenos del paladar, GBR avanzada y cirugía plástica periodontal. Figura clave en el desarrollo de los programas de Diploma de posgrado en Implantología de las universidades de Stellenbosch y Western Cape.
