Clinical Instructor en Hebrew University, Hadassah School of Dental Medicine, Department of Endodontics (2003-2010). Nombrado Director de Postgraduate Endodontic Program en Sheba Medical Center (2011-presente), formando dentistas militares y civiles en técnicas endodónticas avanzadas.

Lieutenant Colonel en Brazilian Military Police Dental Department (desde 1994). Especialista en endodoncia con enfoque en investigación avanzada de anatomía de conducto radicular usando tecnología micro-computed tomography (micro-CT). Co-creador de "The Root Canal Anatomy Project," recurso educativo en línea gratuito proporcionando imágenes 3D de alta resolución y videos de sistemas de conductos radiculares para educadores, estudiantes y clínicos mundialmente.
Más de 30 años de experiencia combinada clínica, militar, académica e investigativa en endodoncia. Pionero en aplicar tecnología micro-CT para estudiar morfología de conducto radicular y su influencia en resultados de tratamiento endodóntico. Investigación enfocada en análisis 3D no invasivo de anatomía de conducto radicular, evaluación de técnicas de preparación de conducto radicular, protocolos de obturación de conductos y procedimientos de retratamiento. Experto en identificar variaciones anatómicas que impactan toma de decisiones clínicas y éxito de tratamiento. Mantiene práctica clínica a tiempo parcial en Brazilian Military Police Dental Services junto a posición de investigación académica.
Miembro de Scientific Advisory Panel para Journal of Endodontics (revista oficial de American Association of Endodontists) y Editorial Board de International Endodontic Journal (revista oficial de European Society of Endodontology). Uno de investigadores endodónticos más citados globalmente con más de 150 publicaciones revisadas por pares en revistas líderes. Autor de influyente libro de texto "Root Canal Anatomy in Permanent Dentition" (Springer, 2018, coautor con Drs. Basrani y Sousa-Neto), traducido a múltiples idiomas y reconocido como referencia definitiva sobre morfología de conducto radicular. Coautor de "Shaping for Cleaning the Root Canals: A Clinical-Based Strategy," proporcionando protocolos basados en evidencia para instrumentación de conductos.
