Adjunct Professor de Periodoncia en la University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (2008–2013). Lecturer del Postgraduate Master's Program in Implantology de la Universidad Católica de Valencia San Vicente Mártir, España (desde 2013). Research Fellow del Department of Neurosciences, Head and Neck Rehabilitation de la University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (2007).
Miembro de un equipo internacional de opinion leaders que realiza ensayos clínicos prospectivos y aleatorizados en implantología desde 2009, con un enfoque específico en protocolos de carga inmediata, carga temprana de 3 semanas y carga convencional para implantes unitarios y rehabilitaciones full-arch. Autor principal de múltiples estudios publicados en revistas internacionales revisadas por pares de implantología. Miembro del Editorial Board del European Journal of Oral Implantology.
