A continuación realizaremos el análisis funcional de la oclusión humana. Revisaremos los movimientos de protrusiva, lateralidad y su relación con la articulación temporomandibular.
Se explicará para qué sirven las líneas de oclusión funcional. En este contexto definiremos los conceptos de:
- Arco céntrico activo
- Arco céntrico pasivo
- Arco funcional estético
- Región guía
- Arco interrumpido del céntrico activo maxilar y mandibular
- Arco interrumpido del céntrico pasivo maxilar y mandibular.
